Pastor Mark Belonga

MarkMark grew up in Novi, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. He graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois in 1996 with a degree in Computer Science, and from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2010. Mark worked for 25 years in the computer software industry before entering full-time ministry. Mark served as an associate pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in McKinney, TX before becoming the pastor of Zion Presbyterian Church.

Mark was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. Professing faith at a young age, the Lord deepened and strengthened Mark's faith through the many joys and trials of life. In the midst of a successful software career, the Lord provided Mark an opportunity to attend seminary while he continued to work full-time. Following seminary, Mark was called to serve as an associate pastor in a bi-vocational capacity. He served in this role until he left the software industry in 2020 to plant Zion Presbyterian Church in full-time ministry.

Mark and his wife, Andrea, married shortly after graduating from college. Andrea is the love of his life and his faithful ministry partner. Over their many years of marriage the Lord has blessed them richly with His abundant kindness and love. They have two adult sons (both married to wonderful daughters-in-law); one daughter in college; one daughter finishing high school; one goldendoodle named Wolfgang ("Wolfy"); and they recently shared the joy of welcoming their first grandson.
